Both maps, hung together. The 1899 survey — the last complete picture of the city before the Great Storm — above the 1912, the city raised and rebuilt. Same streets, same lots, thirteen years apart; the two are cut so the blocks line up when stacked.
Two 22 × 28s for $695 (separately $790), or two 27 × 40s for $1,200 (separately $1,390). Matching gold frames, glazed, ready to hang.
Why the pair
Thirteen years apart, same streets, same lots. 1899 is the city the Storm took; 1912 is the city that raised itself behind the seawall. Hung one above the other, you can follow a single block through the whole story — which names survived, which corners changed, what never came back.
The two prints are cut so the street grid lines up when stacked.
Size & framing
Two matching gold metal frames, glazed and ready to hang, 1899 above and 1912 below:
Two 22 × 28 — $895 for the pair, against $990 bought separately. Each map fills its full sheet; with the white mats the visible image is about 18 × 24 apiece.
Two 27 × 40 — $1,450 for the pair, against $1,590 separately. With the white mats the visible image is about 23.5 × 35.5 apiece.
Hang them stacked as shown, side by side, or turn both 90° and hang them tall.
Paper & printing
Printed on archival enhanced matte paper with pigment inks — the same combination galleries use for work meant to hang for generations. The matte surface holds the original hand lettering crisp and legible at full size, without glare under glass.

Delivery
Each pair is finished within a few days of your order.
On Galveston Island, I bring them to you myself, or you're welcome to collect them downtown at 22nd and Postoffice — both at no charge. Choose Local delivery or Pickup at checkout and I'll be in touch to arrange a time.
Elsewhere in the United States they travel flat and insured by USPS; the rate for your address is shown at checkout.
Framed pieces aren't returnable, but if either arrives with so much as a scratch, I'll replace it.
